Le Mur
Le Mur combines land art and political critique. It is an atypical wall that contrasts with ex-US President Trump's policy for a border wall. It also examines related US-Mexico immigration politics. The wall made of vine and branches appears as rhythm and melodies poised on the grass; it exists in harmony with the surrounding environment. On this wall, there are two windows and three doorways, through which animals and people can pass freely, or even go around should they choose to.

Let There Be Light
Detail of a blueprint impression.
The title for this exhibition, Let There be Light, was inspired by the Book of Genesis. “Let There Be Light” was first words God uttered in his creation of the world. After light and darkness were separated, each element of the universe was spoken into being. This body of work comprise two components. Seed and Bloom was a multi-media, sculpture installation. Weeds, a blueprint series. Together, they illustrate the grandeur and the intricacy of the created things. From these seemingly mundane and insignificant matters come my meditation on the unfathomable, glorious, gentle, and powerful act of creation.
Lament for the Death of Civil Rights
A dog, donning Taiwan's national flag, stood in Lament for the Death of Civil Rights on Liberty Square, 2008.
Lament for the Death of Civil Rights was a Participatory Performance. This piece supported the Wild Strawberries Student Movement. The student-initiated protest condemned police violence. The students demanded the ouster of the then Head of National Police Agency and Head of National Security Bureau, an apology from the national administration, the right to public assembly, and freedom of speech.

The Sunflower Movement Series
The Mandarin name for sunflower means “toward the sun.” Under the sun, everything is exposed.
The Sunflower Student Movement in Taiwan opposed the national government's Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement with China. Taiwan's ruling party, Guomindang, approved it without clause-by-clause review or consent of the Congress. In response, a coalition of students occupied the parliamentary chamber.
Arts Activism
Activism: Participatory Art
Participatory Art relies on public participation. This approach engages with individuals and communities in order to address social issues. Associated terms include, New-Genre Public Art, Socially-Engaged Art, Social Practice, Collaborative Art, Community Art, Actions, Interventionist Art, and Street Theater.
Our sign read, "We, in USA, Ohio University, Oppose Media Monopoly, Guard Taiwan, Defend Freedom and Democracy."
In July 2012, several social activist groups initiated this movement to opposed a media merger. Want Want China Times Group, a major media corporation, had planned to purchase a TV broadcast and internet operator, CNS. Want Want China Times's mother company, Want Want Holdings Limited, has trade relations with China. Therefore, critics were concerned that this merger would compromise Taiwan's democratic integrity. Projected censorship and centralization of news information caused extreme unease.
